Mylopetra

The private Folk Museum “Mylopetra” is located between the villages of Kastelli and Fourni just a 20-minute drive from Agios Nikolaos. It was established in 1996 by Emmanouil N. Amargiotis and it is a Crafts & Cottage Industry Museum with 3 exhibition areas. In addition to the various exhibits, visitors can see the layout of a traditional olive oil mill, a motor-powered flour mill and several blacksmith tools. In the cottage industry section many traditional wool processing tools and a traditional pot still for raki distillation are on display.
