Dories

On our way to Elounda, near the village of Fourni, we come across the junction leading to the village of Dories. Dories is a small rural hamlet with residences which are notable examples of the traditional architecture of the Cretan highlands. There is also an impressive artificial rainwater cistern which was created following the unification of 14 earlier rainwater cisterns of the area.
