Cretan Music Festival

Every year, a multi-day Cretan Music Festival is organized in collaboration with the Association of Primary Education Teachers of Mirabello – Lassithi Plateau. The Festival aims at promoting local traditions by offering the opportunity to children to learn more about the culture of our area and of the rest of Crete. Dozens of musicians from Crete participate in the Cretan Music Festival. The event takes place at the Lake of Agios Nikolaos and also comprises parallel folklore exhibitions and award ceremonies.
